Discussion

Low pressure will pull away from the region today and high pressure will then resume its control on the Mid-Atlantic region. After early day clouds and residual showers, sunshine will return this afternoon and the remainder of the work week looks quite nice with plenty of sunshine each day and very comfortable temperatures. Strong low pressure may try to ride up along the east coast this weekend potentially bringing widespread and soaking rain to the region.
