Discussion
High pressure will push off the coast this morning and a southwesterly flow of air will develop on its backside resulting in milder air pushing into the Mid-Atlantic region. Temperatures should climb well up into the 70’s this afternoon and then flirt with the 80 degree mark on Thursday (Halloween Day). A cold front will cross the region on Friday and it can produce a few showers around here from late Thursday night into Friday morning. High pressure follows for the weekend resulting in nice, fall-like weather likely with plenty of sunshine on both days.
One final note, it is time once again to turn the clocks back an hour as of 2AM Sunday...a sure sign that winter is on the way.
