It stays quite mild today in the northern part of Alabama, but unsettled as well with the chance of showers and a thunderstorm is possible later in the day or at night. After the passage of a frontal system, quieter weather will return for Friday and the weekend and temperatures can climb all the way to near 70 degrees for highs early next week.
