Discussion
A cold front passed through the region on Sunday and has ushered in colder air to the Mid-Atlantic region and it’ll stick around through much of the week. Temperatures will generally be confined to the lower or middle 50’s for afternoon highs during the week and can drop to or slightly below the freezing mark in some spots for overnight lows. Strong low pressure may push towards the Mid-Atlantic coastline by the early part of the weekend…something to be monitored over the next few days.
One final note, spring officially gets underway on Tuesday, March 19th at 11:06 PM.
