Discussion

Colder air pushed into the Mid-Atlantic region on Sunday night following the passage of a cold front and temperatures will remain at slightly below-normal levels around here today. It does turn milder on Wednesday ahead of the next cold front and there can be a couple of late day or early evening showers as it arrives. The passage of that next front will usher in another colder-than-normal air mass for Thursday and Friday and then attention will turn to a possible strong low pressure system that can push to the Mid-Atlantic coastline by the early part of the weekend. One final note, spring officially gets underway later tonight at 11:06 PM.
