Discussion
High pressure will lose control of the weather around here today as a frontal system approaches from the west. This front will slow down as it reaches the eastern seaboard and low pressure is likely to form along the frontal boundary zone. The result is likely to be some scattered shower activity around here from late tonight into late Wednesday and then perhaps some steadier rain from tomorrow night into Thursday. The Phillies home opener is scheduled for 3PM on Thursday afternoon and it may be a close call as to whether or not it should be pushed off to Friday due to the rain. On the heels of the low pressure system, winds will pick up at the end of the week and another chilly air mass will push into the Mid-Atlantic region.
