Discussion
Yesterday turned out to be a very warm day in the Mid-Atlantic region with many areas flirting with the 80 degree mark for afternoon highs. While not quite as warm today, it’ll remain quite mild with temperatures climbing into the middle 70’s this afternoon in the DC area. A strong cold front heads this way later Thursday and this system is likely to generate numerous showers around here and maybe a strong thunderstorm or two from later tomorrow into late Friday. High pressure heads this way for the weekend with slightly cooler conditions on Saturday and then very mild weather for Sunday and Monday.
