Paul Dorian

6-Day forecast for the Philadelphia, PA metro region

Today

Partly-to-mostly sunny, quite warm, cannot rule out an afternoon shower or thunderstorm; especially, in the southern half of the region, highs in the lower 80’s; W-NW winds around 5-15 mph

Tonight

Mainly clear, chilly, lows in the mid-to-upper 40’s

Tuesday

Mainly sunny, comfortable, near 70 degrees for afternoon highs

Tuesday Night

Mostly cloudy, cool, chance of showers late, lower 50’s for late night lows

Wednesday

Mainly cloudy, cooler, chance of showers, lower 60’s

Thursday

Mainly cloudy, even cooler, chance of rain or drizzle, mid-to-upper 50’s

Friday

Partly sunny, milder, mid 60’s

Saturday

Partly sunny, mild, breezy, chance of showers, low-to-mid 60’s

Discussion

High pressure builds into the region later today following the passage of a cool front which will be close enough that it can still spark an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm; especially, in the southern half of the metro region. A series of frontal systems and low pressure areas will impact the region during the second half of the week with the threat of showers from time-to-time.
