Discussion
A cold front grudgingly slid through the region yesterday and will stall just to our south by the early part of the weekend. Additional disturbances will ride along this stalled-out frontal boundary zone through the weekend bringing us the chance of showers and thunderstorms from time-to-time; however, there should be plenty of rain-free time as well so not at all a total washout. An unsettled weather pattern early next week with a deepening upper-level trough of low pressure will bring us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday, Memorial Day…some of the rain can be heavy, some of the storms can be strong-to-severe.
