Discussion
High pressure pushed into the Mid-Atlantic region on Thursday, and it’ll stay in control of the weather through Saturday as it edges slowly eastward towards the east coast. The air mass associated with this system is very comfortable for the end of May featuring pleasant temperatures and low humidity values. The pattern becomes more unsettled for the second half of the weekend as an upper-level trough will slide in this direction from the west. As a result, clouds should be on the increase on Sunday and there is a chance for some shower activity from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
