Discussion
A cool front is headed this way and it can generate late afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorm and some of the storms can be strong-to-severe. Temperatures should peak today near the 90 degree mark, but the passage of the front will set the stage for a comfortable weekend with lower humidity and plenty of sunshine on both days. The hottest stretch of weather so far this season begins early next week and it could very well end up being for extended period of time lasting right through the week.
