A cold front will push towards our region here at mid-week raising the chance of showers and thunderstorms and any storm can result in heavy rainfall amounts in a short period of time. The threat of showers and storms will remain high on Thursday and Friday as the frontal system stalls out in close proximity to the northern part of Alabama.
