Discussion
A powerful storm system will produce strong winds in the Mid-Atlantic region and periods of rain today which will be heavy at times…there can be a strong-to-severe thunderstorm as well. The rain tapers off to isolated showers by later tonight, but the strong winds will continue as the storm system pushes off to the northeast of here. Winds remain very strong on Friday (Halloween Day) with gusts to 45 mph to go along with sunshine and cool conditions. The weekend will be dry and cool with sunshine on both days and afternoon highs likely in the mid-to-upper 50’s.
