Discussion
After a chilly and unsettled start to the weekend, high pressure edged back into the region on Sunday and this system shifts offshore later today and a warm front will lift through the area. A strong cold front then pushes across the region from later tonight into early Tuesday and a secondary cold front crosses on Tuesday night. Winds will become a noticeable factor on Tuesday following the initial frontal passage with gusts to 40 mph or so on the table from a west-to-northwest direction. It turns much cooler at mid-week with temperatures back to below-normal levels, but much milder weather returns for the late week and especially for the beginning of the upcoming weekend.
