Discussion

It stays quite hot and unsettled for the next several days with highs up in the 90’s and a continuing chance of showers and thunderstorms; primarily, during the afternoon and evening hours. In fact, the very warm, humid and unsettled weather pattern looks like it may continue through much of next week as well. One thing to monitor in coming days is a tropical wave that will push westward into the northern Gulf region and it can intensify into tropical storm status; ultimately, with a chance to impact the northern Gulf states.
