Discussion
The slow-moving cold front that resulted in numerous showers and thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic region on Thursday will edge its way off the eastern seaboard this morning. In its wake, temperatures will be well below-normal as we begin the new month of August and there will be a stiff northeast wind to go along with mainly cloudy skies and possible lingering showers. Clearing skies set in tonight and we are setting up for one of the nicest weekend of the entire summer season with very comfortable temperatures and humidity levels.
