Discussion
It’ll be relatively mild for another day on the front side of a cold front with afternoon temperatures likely climbing to near 50 degrees. As the cold front approaches, low pressure will form along its boundary zone and there will be some rain from later today into the overnight hours. As the colder air rushes in later tonight, the rain can mix with or change to snow for a brief time during the wee hours of Thursday morning. Watch out for slick spots late tonight/early Thursday given the combination of a brief period of snow and the rapidly falling temperatures. Temperatures on Thursday will struggle to climb above freezing and the teens are likely for overnight lows going into early Friday morning.
