Discussion
A very cold week is in store for the Mid-Atlantic region with the worst of the cold coming tonight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night with below zero wind chills at times and single digit overnight lows late Tuesday night. Temperatures today will struggle to climb above freezing for highs and there will be a stiff wind producing even lower wind chills. Temperatures will modify briefly on Thursday with 40 degree highs back on the table, but another Arctic blast reaches us for the late week and weekend. Looking ahead, a major winter storm is likely to form across the southern states by the weekend and we will track it very closely this week to see how much impact it may have here in the Mid-Atlantic region…stay tuned, the potential is there for a big-time impact.
