Discussion
After a chilly start to the day, copious amounts of sunshine today should boost temperatures to the low-to-mid 60’s for afternoon highs. High pressure will be in control of the weather for the next few days while at the same time, a storm system intensifies over the western Atlantic. This ocean storm will have some impact along coastal sections during the next few days with onshore flow and an increasing chance for coastal flooding at times of high tide. However, its impact to inland areas looks like it will be quite limited.
