Discussion

High pressure over the southeastern part of Canada will be in control of the weather across the Mid-Atlantic region while at the same time low pressure will intensify over the western Atlantic. This ocean storm will have some impact along coastal sections during the next couple of days with persistent onshore flow and an increasing chance for coastal flooding at times of high tide. However, the ocean storm’s impact to inland areas looks to be quite limited.
