Discussion
A slow-moving cold front will inch its way towards the coast during the next couple of days bringing occasional showers to the Mid-Atlantic region. Low pressure will form along the stalling-out frontal boundary zone on Friday and likely produce a narrow corridor of heavy rainfall in areas along or just to the south and east of Route I-95 including, for example, the Delmarva Peninsula, New Jersey, and the New York City metro. The weather for the weekend should turn out to be pretty decent although somewhat unsettled at times with breezy conditions and a shower or two cannot be completely ruled out.
