Discussion

Monsoonal moisture will continue to impact the region today, raising the chance of showers and thunderstorms. Any shower or thunderstorm can produce heavy rainfall resulting in a localized threat of flash flooding. By the latter part of the weekend, overall moisture levels will be on the decrease, and temperatures will be on the rise with 100-degree afternoon highs back on the table for Sunday and Monday.
