Discussion

A weak cold front will approach the area today and it can produce a couple of showers around here and an isolated PM thunderstorm is possible. The front should clear the coast on Friday morning paving the way for a comfortably warm end to the shortened work week and some clearing skies likely in the afternoon with temperatures peaking near the 80-degree mark. Another disturbance will arrive this weekend and it can cause showers and thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic region from Saturday into Sunday.
