A weak cold front will approach the region later today and it can produce a couple of showers around here, but nothing significant or long-lasting is expected. The front should clear the coast on Friday morning paving the way for a comfortably warm end to the shortened work week and some clearing skies in the afternoon with temperatures peaking near the 80-degree mark. Another disturbance will arrive this weekend and it can cause showers and thunderstorms in the region from later Saturday into Sunday.
