With deep high pressure to our north and low pressure over the Atlantic our east-to-northeast flow will continue for the next few days keeping our temperatures below normal for this time of year. The extended period of onshore flow will bring tidal flooding concerns along coastal sections for the next several days and rip currents and high surf can be expected at the beaches. A second western Atlantic low pressure system is likely to intensify by the weekend and it could impact parts of the Mid-Atlantic region with more rain and wind; especially, along coastal sections.
