There will be multiple chances for rain including later today and thunderstorms can mix into the picture as well. Temperatures will peak near the 70 degrees mark on Wednesday and Thursday and will trend lower this weekend following the passage of a cool front.

A warm week is coming to the Tennessee Valley, but it will be quite unsettled as well. There will be multiple chances for rain including later today and tonight and thunderstorms can mix into the picture as well. Low pressure will push from Texas to the Tennessee Valley region later tonight bringing this initial chance for rain which will extend into Tuesday as a cool front slides through the area.

7:00 Am | *A climb back to 70 degrees for highs by Sunday and Monday*

It stays chilly today; however, a warming trend will begin in earnest on Saturday with high temperatures in the middle 60’s. By Sunday, temperatures will likely peak near the 70 degree mark for highs and the mild weather continues during the first half of next week. It does become unsettled by Monday and there will be a threat of showers on each day from Monday through mid-week.

A strong cold front passed through the region on Wednesday and it’ll be colder today as a result. The chillier conditions will continue into Friday; however, a warming trend will begin early this weekend. The warming will result in high temperatures likely back in the 60’s on Saturday and then near the 70 degree mark on Sunday and Monday. The warm-up will be somewhat unsettled; however, with the threat of showers on a daily basis from tomorrow into early next week.

Unseasonably mild conditions will prevail today across the Tennessee Valley and there are likely to be occasional showers, maybe even a strong thunderstorm. High temperatures will be in the low-to-mid 70’s and it’ll become very windy this afternoon with gusts of 40+ mph possible through the afternoon and nighttime hours. A strong cold front slides across the region on Wednesday morning and temperatures will drop sharply from the upper 60’s to the upper 40’s by mid-to-late afternoon.

It stays quite mild today in the northern part of Alabama, but cooler air will push in for tonight and Saturday on the heels of a frontal passage. A warming trend this weekend will bring temperatures back to the 60’s on Sunday and perhaps to a flirtation with 70 degrees on Monday afternoon. After that, a strong front will move into the Mississippi/Tennessee Valleys and the result is likely to be occasional showers and maybe even a strong-to-severe thunderstorm around here by the middle of next week.

It stays quite mild for the next couple of days with high temperatures of 60+ degrees in the northern part of Alabama. While it’ll remain dry today with plenty of sunshine to go along with those mild conditions, the weather turns unsettled on Thursday and Thursday night with the chance of showers and PM thunderstorms. After the passage of a frontal system, quieter weather will return for Friday and the weekend and temperatures can climb all the way to near 70 degrees for highs early next week.

It turns quite unsettled on Thursday with the approach of a cold front and there will be quite windy conditions along with the chance of showers and PM thunderstorms. High pressure returns to the region for the late week and upcoming weekend.
