As high pressure builds into the eastern US, our nice weather pattern will continue through the weekend and well into next week. Each day going forward until the middle of next week should feature some sunshine, warm conditions and only limited chances for showers and thunderstorms.

As high pressure builds into the eastern US our weather will settle down into a pretty nice pattern with plenty of sunshine for the next few days and comfortably warm conditions. Ridging will actually intensify on Friday and through the weekend increasing our chances that the generally nice pattern continues into early next week.

Our recent string of rain-free days is coming to an end with showers on the table for today, tonight and Saturday and an even better shot for the second half of the weekend. In fact, the threat for showers and thunderstorms will increase for the Monday-to-Wednesday time period as an unsettled weather pattern takes over across much of Florida. There are also signs that the tropics may become active near Florida over the next week to ten days and we’ll monitor it closely.

High pressure ridging will tend to reduce chances for showers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but that threat for scattered showers will not be eliminated.
