PHL--Thursday Cooler and Breezy
Vencore Weather
A noticeable change in air mass occurred overnight with much drier conditions this morning as dew points have dropped considerably. Thunderstorms associated with the strong frontal system that passed through late yesterday fell apart as they approached SE PA, but severe weather occurred farther north. Tornadoes touched down in the Massachusetts towns of Springfield and Sturbridge as the same front crossed that region. Very comfortable weather is in store here through tomorrow and lows late tonight could actually touch the upper 40’s in parts of the region. The weekend will feature some sunshine on both days, but a few showers and, maybe a thunderstorm, can occur late Saturday and Saturday night. Pretty nice weather is likely to begin next week with no 90 degree weather expected through at least mid-week. Today- mostly sunny, refreshing breeze, much more comfortable, highs near 80 (normal high is now 77)
Tonight- mainly clear, turning cooler, lows in the upper 40’s
Fri- mostly sunny, pleasant, upper 70’s
Sat- partly sunny, warm, chance for a few showers or possibly a thunderstorm late in the day and at night, highs near 80
Sun- partly sunny, warm, low-to-mid 80’s
Mon- mainly sunny, warm, near 80
Tues- mainly sunny, warm, near 80
Wed- partly sunny, warm, near 80
