Change in air mass brings relief...humidity returns this weekend
Paul Dorian
High pressure near the Great Lakes will control our weather pattern over the next several days. Copious amounts of sunshine are in store for the next few days and humidity levels will be quite reasonable right through Friday. Once the high slides off the east coast this weekend the humidity will build back into the region and high temperatures will also increase reaching the mid-to-upper 80’s. Elsewhere, the first tropical storm has formed, Arlene, and it will move from the southwestern Gulf of Mexico into eastern Mexico over the next couple of days. Today- mostly sunny, more comfortable humidity, low-to-mid 80’s
Tonight- great night for the Yankees game, mainly clear, comfortable, low-to-mid 60’s
Thurs- mostly sunny, nice, low 80’s
Fri- mostly sunny, a bit more humid, low-to-mid 80’s
Sat- partly sunny, very warm and more humid, slight chance for a late day or nighttime thunderstorm, mid-to-upper 80’s
Sun- partly sunny, very warm and humid, slight chance for a thunderstorm, mid-to-upper 80’s
Mon- mainly sunny, very warm and humid, slight chance for a thunderstorm, mid-to-upper 80’s
