Discussion
The Mid-Atlantic region has been spared the relentless heat and humidity that the central Plains have suffered through during the past several weeks. Changes in the upper air pattern, however, will allow for that heat to expand eastward reaching our area on Thursday and lasting right into the weekend. High temperatures are likely to reach or surpass 95 degrees for three straight days on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before a cool front tries to slip down the east coast on Sunday.
