Scattered thunderstorms are moving through Southern New York state and northeastern Pennsylvania and a few areas around New York City can get hit by a thunderstorm between about 5 and 10PM. Once these storms clear through the area later this evening, skies will become partly cloudy and overnight conditions will be rather pleasant.
