4:40 PM | More showers and thunderstorms headed towards Philly and its suburbs

Another batch of showers and thunderstorms is headed from south central PA towards Philadelphia and its suburbs. This area of precipitation will likely hold off from entering the western and northern suburbs until after 5:30PM and it threatens the entire metropolitan between that time and about 9PM. Some of the rain that falls from can be briefly heavy and an interruption at the Phillies game tonight is a possibility. Another thunderstorm is possible for the late night hours as well as at anytime on Friday or Friday night.
