Discussion

July closed out on a hot note and ends up as the hottest month ever with overall July temperatures at 5.1 degrees above normal. Today will feature more hot and humid conditions and a weak frontal system will spark some scattered late afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm activity. This front clears through by tomorrow and then the next front will threaten us with showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday. Finally, another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible to start the weekend as yet another front moves into the region.
