Discussion
Weak high pressure will continue to control our weather today with partial sunshine and moderate temperatures, but more significant rainfall is possible over the weekend. Specifically, showers and thunderstorms are likely late Saturday and Saturday night and some of that rain could fall heavily. The threat for showers continues on Sunday before some clearing takes place on Monday. Elsewhere, Tropical Storm Emily has dissipated as it crossed the high terrain on the island of Hispaniola.
