Discussion
Weak high pressure will continue to control our weather today with partial sunshine and moderate temperatures. Another batch of rain, however, is headed our way for the weekend as low pressure moves east from the Midwest. Some of the rain could fall heavily; especially, late in the day tomorrow and again at night. The threat for showers continues on Sunday before some sunshine returns on Monday. Elsewhere, Tropical Storm Emily has dissipated as it crossed the island of Hispaniola which has some high mountainous terrain that tends to severely weaken tropical systems.
