Discussion
Pleasant conditions will be the rule for the next couple of days and nights, but that nice weather won’t last through the upcoming weekend. In fact, the weather goes downhill this weekend after a decent start on Saturday. Low pressure will head east on Saturday from the Ohio Valley and the overall pattern setting up promises to bring us soaking rain on Sunday here in the New York City metro region. This low pressure system will then gradually pull away on Monday and our weather will improve again by the time Tuesday rolls around. Elsewhere, the tropical Atlantic is getting more and more active and there are now two waves just off the west coast of Africa that will have to be monitored over the next several days.
