Discussion
High pressure provides us plenty of sunshine for today, but it will move off the coast tomorrow and this will allow for another low pressure system to approach the area later Thursday and Friday. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase on Thursday and continue on Friday and another inch or more of rainfall is possible from this next system by the time the weekend begins. At this point the weekend is looking pretty decent although a shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out for Saturday. Another frontal system will approach from the west early next week and this could set off more showers and storms Sunday night and Monday. Elsewhere, the tropics are acting up as we gradually approach the usual peak month of September and a couple different waves of low pressure will have to be monitored over the next several days.
