6:30 PM | Very strong thunderstorms will affect southern and central Chester County and Delaware County over the next hour or so
Paul Dorian
Very strong thunderstorms have developed across northeastern Maryland and they will affect southern and central Chester County and Delaware County over the next 45 minutes to an hour. These storms will contain very heavy rain, wind gusts to 40 mph, vivid lightning and possibly even some small hail. Localized flooding can be expected in many of the places hit by these storms during the next 60 minutes or so. Later on this evening, the storms could move into Philadelphia possibly interrupting the Philles/Diamondbacks baseball game.
