9:05 PM | Strong storms headed to New York City region
Paul Dorian
Strong thunderstorms have formed across extreme northwestern New Jersey and are generally headed east towards the New York City metro region. These storms should move across the New York City region between 10:00 and 11:00 PM and will cause heavy rain, gusty winds and possibly some small hail. Long Island has already been pounded by strong storms and the central part of the Island will continue to be affected by these storms over the next 30 minutes or so.
