Discussion
Our unsettled weather pattern continues with the threat again for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. A weak frontal system has stalled out near us and it will become the focus for showers and storms later today and some of the rain can be heavy. For the month, nearly 3 inches of rainfall has accumulated at Reagan National Airport, but this is considerably less than just northeast of here as Philly International Airport has already received more than 12 inches of rain this month and Central Park has received more than 9 inches. Looking ahead, there are continuing signs that a tropical storm or hurricane could be nearing the southeast US coast in about week or so - stay tuned on that.
