Discussion
High pressure will continue to provide us with decent weather today and tomorrow, but it then shifts off the east coast this weekend and will pump in more humid air our way. Simultaneously, low pressure will head east from the Ohio Valley and this will cause unsettled weather here this weekend and on Labor Day Monday as well. The threat exists for some shower and thunderstorm activity on both weekend days and on Labor Day as well. In fact, some of the rain can come down hard Sunday night or Monday as a cool front approaches from the west. This front will usher in cooler air by Tuesday of next week and we should actually hold in the 70's for highs.
