Our widespread showers and thunderstorms weather pattern of the past few days will evolve into a pattern with more of the scattered variety of rainfall for the next few days as no genuine clearing is in store for the region until early next week. The weather should be mainly dry and warm to start the new week on Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures approaching 80 degrees each day. Meanwhile, the active tropical weather pattern continues and the newest two systems, Maria and Nate, will have to be monitored over the next week or so. Tropical Storm Maria is located over the Atlantic and will head on a course towards the SE US coast over the next several days, but may take a sharp turn before ever reaching the coast. Tropical Storm Nate, now stationed over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico, will likely move little over the next few days and could perhaps end up over Mexico rather than on its way toward the US Gulf coast.
