Discussion
Much cooler air will reach the New York City region by the end of the week. This will be the first prolonged taste of fall as a strong cold frontal passage on Wednesday will usher in a quite cool air mass for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. High temperatures by the end of the week will struggle to escape the 60’s and it is not out of the question that we have our first nighttime lows in the 40’s. Meanwhile, no tropical troubles here this week as Tropical Storm Nate is no longer a threat to the US as it moved over Mexico and Tropical Storm Maria continues to take a track that will turn away from the east coast.
