Discussion
A major cool down is on the way as a large, sprawling Canadian high pressure system is moving our way from southern Canada. This major outbreak of cool, crisp autumnal air will drop temperatures into the 30’s throughout the Northern Plains by mid-week and could even give us our first lows in the 40’s late this week. A shower or thunderstorm could accompany the frontal passage on Wednesday and a few showers are possible on Thursday as the cooler air moves in.
