Discussion
Temperatures will return to near normal by mid-week as our large Canadian high pressure slide off the Northeast coast. This will allow for a milder flow of air on the back side of the high and a frontal system will approach from the west on Tuesday. A second front will then move east by Thursday and give us a threat for showers and thunderstorms during the latter part of the week as low pressure tries to develop along it. Elsewhere, the tropics remain rather quiet, but more activity is likely during the next few weeks.
