Discussion
High pressure will continue to control our weather through Tuesday, but then a significant rain event is likely on Wednesday and more showers are likely on Thursday and Friday as well. A storm is currently gathering strength over northern Florida and it will spread rain up the east coast by Wednesday and it has the potential to produce 1-3 inches throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Once the storm passes by to the north, we’ll have to deal with another frontal system on Thursday and Friday and we may not get genuine clearing until the weekend.
