Discussion
High pressure will finally give up its control of our weather as a potent storm rides up the east coast from the SE US. Rain should develop late tonight and then will continue heavy at times tomorrow into tomorrow night. There is the potential for 1-3 inches of rain from this storm throughout the Mid-Atlantic region by the time the storm pulls to the north later Thursday. A few residual showers are possible Thursday afternoon and again on Friday, but the weekend is looking dry and cool as high pressure will build back into the East.
