Discussion
A storm with tropical connections will consolidate along the SE US coast today and will then take a run up the east coast tomorrow. Rain should move into the region late tonight and it will then continue through much of Wednesday and possibly heavy at times . Thunderstorms could also mix in during this storm on Wednesday which would contain brief downpours. By Thursday, the coastal storm will head into New England and cooler air will move into the Mid-Atlantic on gusty west-to-northwest winds. The cooler weather will continue right into the weekend with high temperatures not too far from 60 degrees.
