Discussion
A storm that has lots of tropical moisture is now moving quickly up the east coast and its heaviest rainfall appears destined for the coastal regions of New Jersey and the New York City metro area. An inch or two of rain is likely here from this storm and the winds could get quite gusty as well. Partial sunshine will return on Thursday, but winds will continue to gust to 25 mph or so. Mainly sunny skies are expected from Friday through Monday as high pressure will build back into the Mid-Atlantic region by the weekend.
