Discussion
A storm that has plagued the Florida Keys this week has now jumped to the SE coast and is heading quickly up the east coast. Occasional rain will fall this morning in the DC metro region and thunderstorms may mix into the picture during the afternoon hours. The rain threat will diminish later this evening and then partial sunshine will return tomorrow, but winds will be quite gusty. Mainly sunny skies can be expected here from Friday through Monday as high pressure builds back into the region.
